A family affair. Or Not :)

Wonder why I’m still up at two in the morning? Well, I’m in the hospital baby sitting a sick dear friend. I can’t seem to close my eyes nor stop gulping coffee so better use the time to blog.

Three weeks has passed after Cebu celebrated its feast. Yes, after sixteen days, I’ve just blogged some of our pictures during Sinulog today. Great! Hahah I know right? :) Anyhow, here’s a quote I found in Tumblr..

“Sinulog… It’s a faith that has survived. It’s a faith in the Cebuano. Through the Sinulog, in all its activities from the reenactment of the first baptism, to the procession on foot and fluvial as well as the mardi gras, the Pop Music and Sinulog film festivals and exhibits, Cebuanos celebrate Life itself.”- Dr. Erlinda Alburo

This is another heavy photo post so be warned :D

Page 5 of 366: The Specimens!

Well hello there!! Yes, finally, I am back after a week of being MIA :) and you know whyyyy.. Its been a couple of busy days having just finished the Sinulog Festival celebration! And I hope to chip in a couple of posts tonight before I prepare for my midterm exams this weekend. (Oh God, now I realized I have to read five or more chapters/topics every night!)

First stop, a Pre-Sinulog dinner with my dear Specimens Lady and Ron (minus two: Wenah and Karlou). Wonder why we call ourselves specimens? errr, because once upon a time we share the same thoughts and ‘likes’ and lived together in Cebu! (that’s in our own perspective/ of course :)

Btw, here’s our dinner at Bistro Ecila..

One thing I love ’bout this place: the interiors!

Book-lovers as we are, we went straight to Fully booked right after dinner And imagine how thrilled and happy we were to found out they were having a book-sale! Books for only fifty to a hundred pesos?!? Who could resist such bargain? :) After digging on the pile of books, we bought these.. Yes, i’m such a weakling when it comes to books.

We were like kids opening our gits!haha

A good cup of coffee plus a good book equals one great night!

And oh yes, got my planner that night too! :)

And That’s one! Expect more posts (and by this, heavy photo posts) tonight and tomorrow! :D
